By avoiding sugar, you won’t spike your insulin, a major fat storage hormone. You could have a nice salad with pudding for dessert. While it’s important to avoid “junk food” fats, such as trans fats, we all need some healthy fats to be truly healthy.

Healthy Pudding Dessert Recipe Ingredients

  • Irish moss, soaked overnight and rinsed 3x or more
  • 1 cup purified water
  • 2 cups raw cashews, soaked overnight
  • 3 Tbs Xylitol

Pudding with irish mossStart by blending the Irish moss and water. Blend until warm. This is what makes the pudding thick. Use more or less Irish moss depending on how thick you like your pudding. Then add the rest of the ingredients, except the fruit. Blend well until smooth. You could add more xytitol if it is not sweet enough for your taste. Stevia could also be substituted for the xylitol.
