Healthy PudingWouldnt it be great if desserts provided nutrition instead of empty calories?

This tasty pudding recipe has no added sugar and is low carb.

Yes, it does contain some healthy fat. The great thing about fat is that cuts our craving for sugar.

Sugar, simple carbs and high glycemic foods are the real culprit in weight gain.

How to Make Healthy Pudding Taste Good, Rich in Minerals

Fat is not the evil demon many people make it out to be. It helps you to feel full and satisfied. Therefore you can eat less. What could be more satisfying than a yummy dessert? By avoiding sugar, you won’t spike your insulin, a major fat storage hormone. You could have a nice salad with pudding for dessert. While it’s important to avoid “junk food” fats, such as trans fats, we all need some healthy fats to be truly healthy.

Healthy Pudding Dessert Recipe Ingredients

  • Irish moss, soaked overnight and rinsed 3x or more
  • 1 cup purified water
  • 2 cups raw cashews, soaked overnight
  • 3 Tbs Xylitol
  • 1 tsp real vanilla
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • Top it with low sugar fruit, strawberry, blueberry, cherry, cranberry, pick your favorite

Pudding with irish mossStart by blending the Irish moss and water. Blend until warm. This is what makes the pudding thick. Use more or less Irish moss depending on how thick you like your pudding. Then add the rest of the ingredients, except the fruit. Blend well until smooth. You could add more xytitol if it is not sweet enough for your taste. Stevia could also be substituted for the xylitol.

Irish moss is very rich in trace minerals, especially iodine.

Iodine is especially important for the thyroid. All types of seaweed are typically rich in iodine.

Sea vegetables are a wonderful addition to any meal.
