As far as I know, freezing does not destroy enzymes, only heating. Fresh is always best, frozen would be second best.

What about juicing fresh lemons and freezing them in ice cube trays then transferring them to freezer containers to be used a cube at at time? Does the freezing destroy the enzymes??? Thank you!

I remember being at a wedding, and drinking water with lemon squeezed in. I could feel sensitive spots in my teeth by the end of the night. Rinsing the mouth with water, better yet alkaline water can help get the acid of the lemon off the teeth.

Taking in too much fresh lemons can also harm the teeth, so all good things in moderation! It's real acid going through the mouth.

It may be real lemon juice, but unless I am mistaken, it is almost certainly processed and pasteurized. - Bye bye enzymes.

I always favor fresh over processed anyday.

Anything but fresh is out. Here is a lazy way to drink fresh lemon juice.

Get a 10-cup pitcher w Brita filter, fill it w water and keep it in the fridge. So u always have cool great tasting water, no need to mess w ice.

In the morning or before going to sleep, pour this water from the pitcher into a glass. Take a lemon and slice it in 2 halves. Squeeze each half into the glass by hand. Enjoy!

No need to use any machines and wash em afterwards. The whole "operation" takes about 10 seconds.
