Alkaline Balance – Almonds

Almonds are a great alkalizing food.  They are handy to snack on any time of day. Raw almonds are best. Almonds also contain some healthy fat and a bit of protein.

 Make a point to replace a junk food snack such as donuts or cookies with a handful of almonds.

You can pick up a bag or can of almonds and keep some in a handy place, so you will always have a healthy, alkaline snack.

Brazil nuts are also a good choice.
