Alkaline Balance – Be Prepared

Keep a huge salad in the refrigerator at all times. This way you will be prepared and ready to eat healthy alkaline food. No more scrounging at the last minute, “What am I going to eat”

Make up enough salad to last two or three days at a time. Include lots of dark leafy greens, these are much better than you standard “iceberg” type lettuce, also, onions, spinach, pine nuts, carrots, peppers, beets, broccoli, radishes and  sprouts. Spend a few extra minutes in the produce section when getting groceries and pick out a variety of good stuff.

Add some pine nuts and almonds to your salad, for dressing use olive oil and fresh lemon juice.
