Enzymes can be very helpful towards balancing the pH levels in your body and moving you into a healthy alkaline range. Fresh, raw, organic fruits and vegetables contain an abundance of enzymes, especially if they are locally grown and in season. For most of us, it’s tough to get a good supply of enzymes from our diets. The body is able to make enzymes, but this takes energy and resources, not to mention our ability to manufacture enzymes declines with age.
