The principle of the alkaline diet is Especially leafy greens and fresh fruit. It does not mean becoming a vegetarian or vegan. It’s about balance. And most people are simply tilted in the direction of junk food and a bit too much animal products. I like a good steak as much as the next guy, but I eat mine with a huge salad and a side of steamed broccoli, instead of bread and potatoes (which is a digestive nightmare BTW.)
The energy and performance improvements make it all worthwhile.
Green juices and smoothies are the easiest way to get more alkaline fruits and veggies into the diet.
