Part 4 Interview With Raw Foodist
& Iridologist Jennifer Thompson, Ep271

Sometimes you just don’t know what all the ingredients are when you get a dish at a restaurant. The thing to be careful of is the sauces and dressings. Sometimes there are questionable ingredients.
Especially be careful of stuff that tastes too salty.
It may be a good idea to question the waitress or chef about the ingredients. There may be chemical additives lurking even in so called “healthy” food.

In the next couple of days, I am going to start a rejuvenating raw food cleanse. Part of the program involves drinking Iaso tea to detox my body from the inside out.

There are wonderful people in the RAW food world, but there are people who need to be educated much better about health and healthy foods, including what is really RAW. I have purchased RAW prepared foods and have been shocked as to the massive amounts of sodium added (like 900mg a serving); honestly! this sodium masks the health of the food.

RAW foods do not need excessive amounts of sodium (which is not healthy even when its’ RAW) and i believe (uh-oh!!) many raw foods are prepared with overstimulating ingredients. I started out in NATURAL HYGIENE, we would not even think of adding ingredients like sodium (such as natural soy sauce/Bragg’s–although it is not raw) (except maybe from spinach, tomato, or celery), garlic, onions, too many spices, raw chocolate, hot pepper, wasabi, etcetera to a recipe. These are all incredibly overstimulating to the digestive system and to the palate!. However everyone makes their own choice as to what is “healthy” and eat for their own palate. I believe we are supposed to “taste” food in its’ natural form as simply as possible.

I grow my own organic vegetables and fruit and put it away for the winter, also. This way I can control what goes into my body. I use all organic cosmetics, also, water purifier, shower purifier and air purifiers.
