Everyone knows humans are supposed to drink plenty of water for maximum vibrant health. This drink provides hydration and good taste to make getting hydrated easier and more fun.
This drink contains some superstar herbs and just a little fresh orange juice.
Detox Drink, Maca, Herbs, Star Fruit, Yum!
Detox Herb Tea with Maca
- powdered Maca root
- Turmeric
- Fennel seeds
- Cloves
- Peppermint
- Star fruit
- Orange slices
First put your herbs in a coffee mug or glass. Do not use plastic. Add some ice cubes. Then pour hot water over the cubes. Garnish with a slice of star fruit. Then squeeze a couple slices of fresh orange into the mix. Do not use store bought orange juice, it is vastly inferior. Get a real orange and squeeze it in.
After drinking the majority of the liquid, keep adding hot water. You can also squeeze in a bit more juice. Here is the trick to this; at first the herbs will be raw and you will get the benefits associated with raw herbs. There will be some residual herbs in the glass after the first round, Keep adding hot water, so you end up with hot tea by the end. Hot water is very cleansing to the body. Think about it, when you wash your hands, dishes or take a bath, what works better, hot or cold water? Hot water for sure. So this way you get the best of both worlds. Raw food benefits and hot water cleanse.
