He recommends, do not eat right before bedtime.
Acid Reflux at Night with Jacob Teitelbaum, M.D.
Here is what he has to say about nighttime acid reflux:
- Elevate your upper body to keep acid from coming up
- Baking soda in water
- Don’t eat right before bed
During the day, most people are upright and gravity helps to keep things down in the tummy. When you lie down, gravity is no longer helping you. Hence the idea of elevating the upper body. There are special pillows and cushions that can be used, or you could be inventive and put a couple old phones books under the head of the bed.
He spoke for almost 2 hours, sharing a lot of useful information about energy, overcoming pain and good nutrition.
We will try to post a few more videos shortly and share some of this wonderful information.
