Dramatic Effect on the Quality and Quantity of Life
So what had the biggest effect?
What you were eating and what you were drinking.
This was Dr. Young’s conclusion after testing the blood of both healthy and unhealthy people. The diet had the biggest impact on the quality of the blood. this has been the nature of his research over the last few decades.
Sick and Tired?
Dr Young refers to his book, Sick and Tired, Reclaim Your Inner Terrain I love that book. I picked up a copy several years ago, and I refer to it often. Mine is getting pretty worn out, almost time to get a new copy.
Fitness vs. Health
Is it possible to be in top physical condition and not be healthy? Definitely so. Sure you can work out a lot, take weight loss pills and control calories. That does not necessarily build health. It can if you are eating healthy foods. But Dr. Young has run into folks who look good on the outside, but are truly unhealthy on the inside. The type of foods consumed and the effect on pH balance can make a dramatic difference.
