ALKALINEPeople are always asking, what can I drink besides water?

So, I interviewed Doc David Gawain and he gave us some great ┬átips on healthy drinks, along with demonstrations on how easy it is to make healthy, alkaline beverages. Everyone knows you should drink lots of water and stay well hydrated. Let’s face it though, water can be boring. So check out the video and read below for some really unique healthy drink ideas.

Healthy Beverages

Ginger Snap Cookie Drink

  • 16 oz purified water
  • TBS apple cider vinegar organic
  • Fresh ginger chopped
  • TBS maple syrup or local raw honey

Makes a great electron donor drink. Stay tuned for our next video about electron donors, pH and antioxidants.

Thanks Doc David Gawain

Zeolite drink

Add 4 drops of liquid zeolite to purified water

Fruit infused water

MUST use fresh raw fruit. Lemons that come in little plastic bottles don’t count.

If you roll a lemon or lime around on the counter underneath your palm, you can get more juice out of it. Then cut it in half and squeeze it into purified water. Add Stevia if you’d like it to be sweetened with no calorie sweetener. Stevia comes from a natural green plant.

You can use all kinds of fruit, herbs and veggies to make infused water. You get a flavored alkaline beverage that is not high in sugar.

Pineapple, Orange, Ginger infused water

  • Fresh pineapple
  • One or two oranges
  • Chopped ginger root

Slice up fruit and ginger and place in a large pitcher or sun tea container. Fill to the top with purified water. Let it sit in the frig for at least half an hour. You can add ice cubes too if you like. Just make sure they were made from purified water. This recipe adds antioxidants and a few vitamins and minerals to the water. Makes a nice flavored alkaline beverage that is more refreshing than just plain water.

Cucumber Mint infused water

Follow the same procedure as above, just use cucumber and mint leaves as your ingredients.

Super Alkaline, Yummy Detox Drink

Let’s combine a couple concepts from above to create and awesome morning alkalizer and detox drink.

Start with 12 oz purified water. Take a lime and roll it around on the counter under your palm. Cut it in half and squeeze half of it into the pure water. Save the other half for a little later. Add 4 drops of liquid Zeolite. Finally add some Stevie powder to sweeten the deal. A great way to start the day – every day.

We would love to hear your suggestions for healthy beverages. Please use the comment box below, thanks.
