There is a lot of juicing Gurus out that advocate making your own fresh juice with a juicer.
This can create a juice that is very high in sugar, in fact some juice recipes contain almost as much sugar as a can of soda.

Fruits, carrots and beets are great foods that contain a lot of good vitamins, minerals and enzymes. When you juice them by themselves and the fiber is removed, the result can be a juice drink that can easily spike your blood sugar. A high sugar, high carbohydrate beverage that can absorb from the digestive tract very quickly. The nutrients are great, but the load of sugar may not be for some.
The solution, add lots of leafy greens.
The more I read about the new research behind leafy greens, the more excited I get.
Secondly, they bump the nutrition value way up. Vitamins, alkaline minerals, enzymes, phytonutrients and more are abundant in leafy greens.
And thirdly (the point of this whole message) they reduce the concentration of sugar in the juice. Most leafy greens contain little or no sugar.
