<p>I&#8217;m not a 100% raw food person, but I do like to eat a very high percentage of raw foods in my diet. I can definitely feel a difference in energy levels, both mentally and physically.</p>
<p>Raw foods are rich in natural enzymes, cooking and heating foods, destroys enzymes.<br />

<p>At the rate we are going, our kids are set up to live a shorter life span than us adults. Thanks to advances in science we are living longer than we did200 years ago, but now it seems we are going the other way. There is a fix.</p>
<p>The best strategy is to vote with your dollars at the supermarket. I much prefer to support local farmers at the farmers market. And shop for organic and healthier choices at the  grocery stores. Let the soda pop, chips, candy bars and other junk food rot on the shelves. Although that will probably take a long time with all the preservatives&#8230;</p>

<p>Get your blender ready and add the following:</p>

<li>Sprouts, alfalfa is good, or use clover, mung bean or bit of radish for some zest</li>
<li>Greens, dark leafy greens are best. The more the merrier</li>

<p>I know from personal experience that eating healthy can sometimes be stressful. You seem to be going against the flow of what everyone else is doing. But then again, everyone else is getting fatter, sicker and more tired. What I am trying to do is feel better, have more energy and live a long healthy life.</p>
<p>Have you ever gone into a restaurant, looked at the menu and thought to yourself, there is nothing healthy on this menu? Or you feel embarrassed because you have to make a special request to get some food that is acceptable to someone who is health conscious.</p>
<p><I know how stressful it can be to have everyone around you eating junk food, while you are trying to maintain good health. And the temptations are out there for sure. If people only knew what was in that junk they are eating.</p>
<p>If you have a spouse, or other family members who are not into health food it can be challenging. I know that first hand.</p>
