I have some of the same questions posted here, but I can’t see the answers to theirs. Some of the foods you list as alkaline are listed on others site as acid. and now I am confused. Please clarify for me about apples, mushrooms, sesame seeds, and blueberry.
    Thanks so much.

    Hi there

Thank you for the chart, I have printed it, and am going to try it with my dad, he is 77 and has myeloma. I am a vegetarian, I eat a lot of quorn, I just wondered if this was acid-forming? As my dad is use to eating meat, so looking for a substitute.
Also it says mushroom are alkaline on your chart, as I am trying to gather as much info as possible I have looked through the net, and found on another chart, mushroom are acid.
    What one is right.
    Kind Regards
    Lou

I am confused by the discrepencies between charts. Some foods that are listed as alkaline on one, are listed as acidic on another. Some foods I question are almond milk, eggs, cooked dried beans, berries?

yes it does. More alkaline based is best for fighting cancer. Check out the documentary “Forks Over Knives”. They talk abou that in length. Awesome documentary that made me and my family start to switch to an alkaline/ vegetarian based diet.

We are so thankful that we searched and found your website. I am spreading the NEWS/Gospel of good eating. We just did not know how to identify what foods were the Alkaline Foods. We want to know more. We like your emphasis on “balance”. We are a family of five three boys 9,10, & 12. We want foods for energy/fiber/and to build the immune system, as the boys and I have allergies.

We live in Lithonia,GA. Thank you so very much

This chart is handy, I have one on my frig and one on the wall in the den, so I can refer to it often. I use it to make my grocery list.
