Tips for Healthy Barbecue
First of all just eat real food, I have never heard better device in my entire life.
Here are three quick tips for creating a healthy barbecue.
- Choose a healthy protein source.
Wild caught salmon is a better choice than farmed. There are generally less toxins and wild salmon typically don’t eat a junk food diet.
- Bison and buffalo are a great options, typically it is always free range.
- Ground turkey is another good option.
- Grill up your veggies.
I love zucchini and mushrooms on the grill. Portabella mushrooms are about the same size and shape of a hamburger and make a great option for vegetarians.
- Make your own sauces or look for better varieties at the health food store.
Some commercial barbecue sauces have scary ingredients like GMO high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors or other additives. Local honey is a great option as a sweetener in your homemade sauce.
