Todays Lunch

Here is a picture of the greens, I picked from the garden today.

There is a few tomatoes buried in the bowl there.

I am sure I will only be getting tomatoes from the garden for a few more days this season.

After I rinsed these wonderful, organic greens off, I threw them into a bowl, added some herbs and olive oil.

I lightly cooked some salmon and also had some black beans.

I added these to the salad and had a wonderful lunch. Delicious, nutritious and alkaline forming food!

I would love to hear about your healthy lunch ideas.

Wonderful to pick fresh. However fish, or any flesh food, is highly acid forming. An amazing salad could be the greens and tomatoes as above, but throw in some mung bean sprouts, buckwheat sprouts, avocado and chopped almonds (soaked overnight and rinsed). High quality usable protein, all alkalising, all raw and vegan. Yum.
