Chocolate ChiaWho knew breakfast could be so good?

You could actually eat this Chocolate Chia, Berry Blast any time of day, as a meal or a snack.

This quick meal provides sustained energy.

I can’t believe how good this tasted. I woke up the next day craving another bowlful, so I made another one. Be careful this could be addicting.

Chocolate Chia, Berry Blast Breakfast

Chocolate Chia, Berry Blast Ingredients

  • Chia Seeds
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • Cacao goji energy chunks
  • Unsweetened coconut
  • Almond butter
  • Sprig of mint
  • Stevia
  • Maca root powder

choclate-chiaStart by putting about 2 TBS of chia seeds into a bowl. Add about 1/4 cup water. Let it soak for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. A bit more water may need to be added. The chia seeds suck up a lot of water.

Then add the stevia and Maca root powder. Stir at this point. Slice the strawberries and the Cacao energy chunks. Add the rest of the ingredients, topping it off with the mint leaves as the final step. Enjoy!

    Never been that familiar with Chennai….so this post is alien to me Guess I’ll be able to relate to it better if/when I shift that side…But yes the carefree memories associated with any place…are precious

    secondo me è che lavoro troppo. sto troppe ore seduto dietro la scrivania, o in aereo, o in treno quando mi sposto, e troppo seduto al tavolo del ristorante durante le trasferte. è veramente un mondo difficile.

    so interesting the part about him lip syncing. one of my fav live performances this year has been this one.. Pink’s Try from the AMAs. the performance alone inspired me to buy her new cd and for me that is a biggie because I usually only buy Davids. as I recall he likes her too and hope one day David will come out of his shell a tad and dance more? (hint hint DWTS) she can obviously sing and dance at the same time. really like this song and would love for David to cover this one day!
